Coroner launch new single "Symmetry"

Swiss pioneering technical metallers Coroner continue to promote their upcoming studio album “Dissonance Theory”, a first release with new music after more than three decades, which will be released on 17th October 2025 worldwide via Century Media Records. The new album is available to pre-order now HERE.

Following up on the extremely positive response to the initial announcement for “Dissonance Theory” and the launch of its first single Renewal and video which you can watch below:

Now, Coroner are pleased to debut a second new single as they release the track Symmetry. Coroner’s guitarist, songwriter and producer Tommy Vetterli checked in with the following comment about 'Symmetry':

“This track is about vanity, ego, and how self-obsession can be destructive. That idea shaped the way we played it too. 'Symmetry' gave us room to explore, and with the rhythmic dimension Diego (Rapacchietti – Drums) brings, it pushed us further than we’ve gone before.”

They’ve also released a video for Symmetry directed by Dariusz Szermanowicz which you can see here:

New album "Dissonance Theory” contains ten new songs across 47 minutes, recorded by Tommy Vetterli at New Sound Studios in Switzerland and mixed/mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden (Opeth, Kreator, Amon Amarth, etc.). The album’s cover artwork was created by Stefan Thanneur (Skeletonwitch, The Lurking Fear, Year of No Light, etc.).

The album will be available as Ltd. 2CD Mediabook (with expanded booklet and the legendary “Death Cult” 4-track demo from 1986 - featuring Tom G. Warrior [Triptykon, Celtic Frost, Hellhammer] on vocals - as bonus CD), Standard CD Jewelcase, Digital Album and LP in the following vinyl variants:
