Evil Scarecrow release new single "Shoptimus Prime" this Friday
Evil Scarecrow return with the final single to be released ahead of their forthcoming album “Silicon Tea” due for digital release on 1st October 2025. Shoptimus Prime will be released on Friday 26th September.
Shoptimus Prime is a genre bending consumerist admonition, we might all want to be better people, but we all take the most convenient options sometimes, are we quietly contributing to the downfall of humanity? It’s something to consider while you change the batteries in the TV remote and absent-mindedly caress your reversible sequined Nicholas Cage pillow.
The single comes alongside a plea for help to produce the physical format versions of the new album, as a band without evil corporate label backing, it can be difficult to manage the ongoing and upfront costs of keeping the band alive, so pre-sales are extremely helpful!
Along with CD and Vinyl versions of the album the band are also holding a very special intimate “Silicon Tea” Party on Sunday 5th October at Saltbox in Nottingham, featuring an album playback, an acoustic set and a chance to meet the band and some of their onstage pals, tickets are available exclusively through the Kickstarter HERE.
With the new album “Silicon Tea” out on 1st October 2025, Evil Scarecrow celebrate by bringing their incredible live show back on the road ! An Evil Scarecrow show is not to be missed, packed with laughs, games, appearances from Crabulon and Robototron and your chance to win a VHS Video !
The ‘Premature Obsolescence’ Tour Tickets are on sale now, support for all dates is Andrew O’Neill.
