Steve Hewitt releases new single "If I Said It To You"
Released on the 25th July, If I Said It To You is the vibrant new track from Kent (UK) based songwriter & performer Steve Hewitt. The final release in a trilogy of singles, preceding the launch of his new album “Never Two Days The Same” this Autumn.

As a singer-songwriter possessing a unique flair for artistic diversity, If I Said It To You sees Hewitt cruise into hook-driven Country-Pop territories. Previous singles Cold World and Lost The Reason offered a glimpse into the deeper melancholic shades of the genre-blurring musician. Steve's latest and contrasting composition, however, still maintains his acoustic guitar focused delivery and no nonsense production values. Earworm melody lines, honeyed vocal harmonies and its evident radio-friendly sensibilities all contribute to the song's mainstream allure, but he remains loyal to his own embracement of sonic simplicity.
Hewitt's second studio album “Never Two Days The Same” is officially released on 22nd September 2025. A collection of 11 cuts from an evolving songwriter who transcends stylistic boundaries by pairing Americana and Country with a British Folk aesthetic. Steve Hewitt is an independent artist in the truest sense - treading his own musical path through years of persistence and guided by his own creative impulses. The follow up to his critically acclaimed debut album “Bigger Than Words” (2019) is again produced by Paul West. Special guests featuring on the album include Ant Wellman (Bass), Louise Parsons (Vocals) and Miriam Cox (Cello).
