French alt.metal band Sunborn unveil new single "Silent Attraction"
Hotly-tipped French alt.metal band Sunborn, recently signed to Solid State, are thrilled to unveil the video for gnarly, groove-driven new single Silent Attraction. The video will flip you upside down - literally - with a moody mid-section before erupting in a full-blown rager, and you can watch it on YouTube below:
"This song is a raw attempt at honesty," vocalist Lino Chesnel declares. "We wrote it all together in one night and it felt like a natural way to express the anger we felt at the time. Lyrically, I wanted to say all the things that came through my mind without trying to find a whole universe to create; it's just simple and pure expression of thought. This song was a lot of fun to write, and also our heaviest song to date."
The new song follows the PhaseOne (Fox Lake, Make Them Suffer, ERRA) remix of their single Infinity Pool. You can listen to it HERE, and watch the official video for the original version below:
Sunborn are Lino Chesnel (Vocals), Dylan Vie (Guitar), Enzo Covelli (Bass) and Alois Jampy (Drums) and they hail from Montpellier, in the south of France. This group of adventurous musicians aims to blend unconventional influences by bridging the gap between digital and analog art while embracing modern sounds. Thus, Sunborn shine a new light on what is sonically possible.
At the heart of Sunborn's songwriting is melody. Whether drawing from the crushing intensity of Knocked Loose or the infectious global rhythms of Bad Bunny, the band approaches music without boundaries, blending influences from every corner of the musical spectrum into something uniquely their own. Their vision is simple yet ambitious: To bridge the gap between violence and harmony in the most innovative way possible.
Over the past year, Sunborn have continued to build momentum through powerful live performances, with standout moments including their successful headline tour in January and a nationwide support run across France alongside Resolve.
The road ahead marks a new chapter for the band, as it is preparing to unveil the most expansive and ambitious version of their sound to date — pushing its artistic vision further than ever before while remaining true to the emotional core that defines their music.
For Sunborn, the past is a source of inspiration, but the future is where their story truly begins.
Sunborn will be touring North America with TesseracT this coming winter, before heading to the UK supporting As Everything Unfolds.
